Ingredients for Chut Wali Roti
Wheat flour – 1 cup
Cumin – 1/2 tsp
Red chili powder – 1 tsp
Green chili chopped – 1 tsp
Ginger grated – 1/2 tsp
Asafoetida – 1 pinch
Desi ghee – as needed
salt – as per taste

To make flavourful chutki roti, first of all put flour in a mixing bowl. Now add a pinch of salt, half a pinch of asafoetida, grated ginger and a little ghee to the flour and mix well. After this, add water little by little and knead the dough. After kneading the dough, cover it and keep it aside for 10 minutes. After the fixed time, take the dough again and knead it once more. After this, break small lumps of flour.
Now take a ball and roll it into a thick roti. After this, put one spoon of desi ghee on the upper part of the roti and spread it properly all around. After this, put some pieces of cumin, red chili powder and green chilies on top of the ghee. After this roll the roti. After rolling, hold the roti from one side again and roll it. After this, press the prepared dough and roll it again.

After rolling the roti, keep a nonstick griddle on medium heat for heating. When the griddle becomes hot, put the prepared roti on it and make marks on the upper part of the roti by pinching it and let it roast. After some time, pour desi ghee on the edges of the roti and turn the roti. Now apply some ghee on the upper part of the roti, flip it again and apply ghee on the upper part. Roast the roti till it becomes crisp and dark brown. After this, take a pinch of roti in a plate. In the same way, prepare a pinch of roti from the rest of the balls as well. Pinch roti can be served with vegetables.
