Ingredients to make Rava Dosa
Semolina (rava) – 1 cup
Rice flour – 1 cup
Ginger chopped – 1/2 inch
Green chili chopped – 3
Cumin – 1/2 tsp
Black pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
Asafoetida – 1 pinch
Roasted cashew – 3 tsp
oil – as needed
salt – as per taste

How to make Rava Dosa
To make Rava Dosa, first put Rava in a vessel and add rice flour to it. After mixing both well, add cumin, asafoetida and salt as per taste and mix. Now add a little water to the mixture and make a smooth dough. After this, cover the dough and keep it in a warm place for a few hours. Meanwhile, keep aside the roasted cashews, green chillies, black pepper and ginger in a bowl.

Now take a nonstick pan/tawa and heat it on medium heat. When the tawa becomes hot, put some oil on it and spread it all around to make the surface smooth. Now beat the dough well once and then take the batter in a bowl and put it in the center of the griddle. After this, spread it as thin as possible. After roasting the dosa for some time, spread the mixture of cashews and green chillies over it.

Now apply oil on the edges of the dosa and roast it till it turns golden brown. After that, after folding the dosa, remove it from the griddle and keep it in a plate. Similarly, prepare all the Rava Dosa one by one. You can serve them with coconut chutney, green chutney or tomato sauce.
