Shop owner Vansh Arora told that this shop has been around since 1900 and now it is 123 years old.

Vansh Arora told that this halwa is eaten a lot especially in Persia and other Arabic countries. He told that this halwa is called Habshi Halwa because in our country if anyone is physically very strong then we call him Habshi in the local language. It means a human has the strength of a horse. He told that this halwa is made from a mixture of very powerful ingredients.
What is the rate of this halwa?
It is believed that whoever eats it in everyday life will become much stronger physically. Describing the method of making this halwa, Vansh said that this halwa is prepared by mixing things like milk, desi ghee, nutmeg, mace, cardamom and dry ginger. He told that it takes about 3 to 4 hours to make this halwa. The rate of this Habshi Halwa is Rs 680 per kg.

Dwarka Nath Sharma, a customer who has been coming to the shop for about 50 years, said that no one makes sweets like them in the whole of Delhi. At the same time, customer Poonam told that she has been coming to buy sweets for many years. Till date he never felt that there was any kind of adulteration in his sweets.

To get this halwa, you will have to get down from the Yellow Metro Line at Chandni Chowk Metro Station. As soon as you exit Gate No. 2, take any rickshaw and reach Fatehpuri Masjid. It is here that you will find Meghraj Halwai shop. This shop is open seven days a week. You can come here anytime from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm.
