We are talking about Banswara district of Rajasthan, where special varieties of mangoes from all over the world are grown and a special Mango Festival is also organized here in the month of June. In which you can taste mangoes from all over the world.
Let us tell you that due to the geographical location of Banswara district located in the south of Rajasthan, mango is cultivated in abundance here. Earlier farmers used to cultivate mango in the traditional way. But with the changing times, modern farming started here, after which gradually different varieties of mango were also grown here. Vivek Chachani, Deputy Director of Agricultural Science Center, said that these days more than 52 varieties of mango are being cultivated by the farmers in Banswara. Mango parts are sent from here to the entire country.
Festival is organized in the month of June
A special Mango Festival is organized every year in the first week of June in Banswara district. During this festival, stalls of different varieties of mangoes are set up across the country. Along with the farmers, tourists also participate enthusiastically in this because special types of mangoes from all over the world can be seen in this special festival. In this festival, Dussehri, Langra, Chausa, Fazli, Mumbai Green, Mumbai, Alfonzo, Baingan Palli, Himsagar, Kesar, Kishan Bhog, Malgova, Neelam, Survan Rekha, Vanraj, Jardalu mango varieties are in great demand.
