But some shops and their special sweets are very famous. One such shop is in Riwilganj market of Chhapra. The Rasmalai of this shop has a different identity. Two types of Rasmalai are available here.
The taste of Rasmalai here is famous in the entire district. Here, as much Rasmalai is prepared as is sold every day. This shop in Riwilganj market is famous by the name of Amarnath’s Mithai. Rasmalai is prepared in two ways at Amarnath’s and both the tastes are amazing.
The main reason for its excellent taste is that milk is brought from rural areas to prepare Rasmalai. The second reason is that only as much Rasmalai is prepared here as is sold. This ensures that people always get to eat fresh Rasmalai.

The price of a normal Rasmalai is ₹20 per piece. Amarnath’s shop sells 250 to 300 pieces of Rasmalai every day. There is another Rasmalai in which many dry fruits including cashews, raisins, cardamom are added. This Rasmalai is sold for ₹30 per piece. 350 to 500 pieces of this Rasmalai are also sold every day.
Shopkeeper Amarnath Prasad said that his shop is famous for its delicious Rasmalai. One Rasmalai is prepared from normal milk and the other is a high quality Rasmalai which he has named Ras Madhuri Cream. Other materials including cashews, raisins, gram powder, cardamom and cherry are added to Ras Madhuri Cream.
He told that people also order Rasmalai on weddings and other occasions. More than one quintal of milk is consumed in his shop every day to prepare Rasmalai.
