IFSO Unit, Special Cell has busted a syndicate that duped around 30,000 people on the pretext of giving guaranteed returns in the name of investing in the application ‘Hibox’. Many victims were attracted through the promotion of the app by popular social media influencers and YouTubers. Summon notices were sent to YouTubers and social media influencers Abhishek Malhan, Elvish Yadav, Lakshya Chaudhary, Purav Jha and comedian Bharti Singh to join the investigation.
