IIFA Awards 2024: IIFA 2024 was hosted in Abu Dhabi on 28 September to honor the best talents of Indian cinema. In this award ceremony, awards were given in categories ranging from Best Actor to Best Film and also in special categories. While Shahrukh Khan got the title of Best Actor, Ranbir Kapoor’s film ‘Animal’ got 5 awards.

Bollywood’s ‘Badshah’ Shahrukh Khan received the Best Actor award for his film in the 2023 blockbuster film ‘Jawaan’. while receiving his award Shahrukh Khan Touched the feet of film maker Mani Ratnam, who was present on the stage to honor him, and warmly hugged AR Rahman.

‘Animal’ won 5 awards

The film ‘Animal’ received awards in 5 categories. ‘Animal’ won the title of Best Film at IIFA 2024. Bobby Deol, who was seen in a negative role in the film, was awarded the award for his performance. Anil Kapoor was awarded the title of Best Supporting Actor for ‘Animal’.

‘Animal’ won 2 awards in music category

Ranbir Kapoor starrer film ‘Animal’ also received two awards in the music category. The first award was given to ‘Satranga’ in the Best Music Direction and the second award in the Best Song category.

Shabana Azmi and Rani Mukherjee also honored

Veteran actress Shabana Azmi was awarded the award in the category Best Supporting Role (Female) for the film ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’. Whereas Rani Mukherjee won the Nexa IIFA 2024 trophy for her heart-wrenching role in the film ‘Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway’.

Hema Malini and Alizeh Agnihotri awarded in special category

The award for outstanding achievement in Indian cinema was given to Hema Malini. Salman Khan’s niece Alizeh Agnihotri received the title of Best Debut Actress of the Year for her brilliant performance in ‘Farre’.
