On Saturday, the tehsil administration demolished the illegal madrasa near the mosque on Dataganj Road in Musajhag village of Badaun using a JCB. The religious place is also said to be the land of the Gram Panchayat. An investigation has been started in the matter.
A mosque is built on Dataganj road, about one kilometer away from Musajhag police station. A maulana had started the construction of a madrasa right next to it without any permission. The villagers complained about this to the Pradhan, but no one listened to them. When they felt that the Pradhan might also be involved in this, the villagers called the state president of Hindu Jagran Manch, Jogpal Singh and informed him. Jogpal Singh called the higher authorities and demanded to stop the illegal construction of the madrasa.
The villagers had protested
The villagers along with the officials of Hindu Jagran Manch had protested by creating a ruckus to stop the construction. The officials had stopped the construction work. On Saturday, on the orders of the DM, the tehsil administration demolished the under-construction madrasa with the help of JCB. Investigation has revealed that the madrasa was being constructed on enemy property without permission. The mosque has also been built on the land of the village society. This is being investigated.
SDM Sukhlal Prasad Verma said that the madrasa was constructed on enemy property without permission. It has been demolished. Instructions have been given that no construction work should be done without permission.
