In Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, a young man sleeping outside his house was attacked with a sharp weapon by his in-laws and killed. The incident caused a lot of commotion in the house. The father of the deceased has filed a case against seven named and four unknown persons. The incident took place in Tarauli Janubi village of Chhata police station.

The police have taken the deceased’s wife and her elder sister (Jethani) into custody. While fleeing after the incident, the accused hit a cow with their car. The cow also died due to this. The deceased’s father Rajendra, a resident of Tarauli Janubi, told in the case registered at the police station that on Wednesday, his son and daughter-in-law had quarreled twice during the day.

At around 12 o’clock at night, daughter-in-law Kamlesh and Gudiya called their brother Bhudev, Prabhu and their father. They told that she, her son Virendra and her brother’s son Prempal were sleeping outside the house. At 12 o’clock on Wednesday night, Virendra’s in-laws and their companions came in a Bolero and attacked Virendra with a sharp weapon.

The accused also attacked Prempal, the brother’s son, who came to rescue him. He too got injured. Virendra was taken to the city hospital for treatment. Where the doctor declared him dead. The accused also hit a cow while fleeing from the spot. Due to this the cow died on the spot.

There was an argument over property division

The deceased had an argument with his wife Kamlesh over the division of his father’s property. Virendra had beaten Kamlesh in this. Angered by this, Virendra’s in-laws attacked Virendra. At present, the police have taken Kamlesh and her elder sister Gudiya into custody. Both the sisters were married to Virendra and his elder brother 10 years ago. The deceased has two daughters.
