Women are not allowed to vote

For example, Dhurnal village located in the middle-eastern region of Pakistan is a village where women are still not able to vote. According to South China Morning Post, women have been banned from voting in this village of Pakistan for the last 50 years. The main reason for this is patriarchal thinking here.
Former principal of the same village, Naeem Kausar, told that long ago there was a fight between women at the polling station, after which the men had banned women from voting. According to a BBC report, even in Shangla district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, women hardly go to vote. According to the Election Commission of Pakistan, there are 128 million registered voters in the country, of which 59 million are women voters.
