Does India have anti-drone system?

India has Drone Detect, Deter and Destroy System i.e. D4 drone. This is the first indigenous anti-drone system, which was developed by the Defense Research and Development Organization in three years. According to DRDO, the D4 drone detects the enemy in the air within a radius of 3 km and provides 360 degree coverage. Not only this, after detecting the enemy, it works in two ways, hard kill and soft kill. If it is given a hard kill command, it destroys the enemy drone through its laser beam. Under soft kill, the D4 drone can bring down the enemy drone or damage its GPS and electronic equipment through the laser beam, due to which the enemy drone loses contact with the operator.

Where is it being used in India

Let us tell you that the entry drone system is being used on international borders. But recently, CRPF jawans are also using it in Manipur.
