This scheme is not applicable in these states
In the year 2018, the Government of India had started the Ayushman Bharat scheme to provide health insurance to all the citizens of the country. Under this scheme, beneficiaries are given a cover of up to Rs 5 lakh. Let us tell you that under Ayushman Bharat Scheme, health cards are issued to the beneficiaries. By showing these, they can get their treatment done in any listed hospital.
To avail the benefits of this scheme, it is necessary to have BPL card. This is the world’s largest health scheme. But this scheme has still not been implemented in some states of India. This scheme is not yet implemented in the states of Telangana, Orissa, Delhi, Kerala and Punjab.
There is no agreement with the central government
This scheme being run by the Central Government is not applicable in five states of the country. According to the information given by the Central Government regarding this, the states of Telangana, Orissa, Delhi, Kerala and Punjab have not yet reached an agreement with the Central Government regarding this. Therefore this scheme is not applicable in these states. The citizens of these states will be able to get the benefits of this scheme only after signing an agreement with the Central Government.
