IND A vs SA A Unofficial Test: On one hand, the Indian team has suffered a crushing defeat against South Africa in the Centurion Test, while on the other hand, India’s junior team i.e. India-A is performing well in South Africa. India-A had not only played brilliantly in the first unofficial test of the South African tour, now it had the upper hand in the second match as well. However, both these tests ended in a draw.
This second unofficial Test between India-A and South Africa-A started from 26 December. In this four-day test match, the Indian bowlers first destroyed the South African batsmen for 263 runs and later took a good lead by scoring 327 runs for 6 wickets. However, due to rain, most of the match was wasted and Indian players had to be satisfied with a draw.
In this match, while Indian fast bowler Avesh Khan created havoc in the first innings, three Indian batsmen scored half-centuries in the second innings. Tilak Verma, Dhruv Jurel and Akshar Patel played strong innings here.
