Ind Vs Aus Border Gavaskar Trophy 3rd Match May Be Shifted From Dharamshala Stadium

India vs Australia 3rd Test Dharamshala: The Border-Gavaskar Trophy is being played between India and Australia. Team India won the first match of this series by an innings and 132 runs. Team India players performed brilliantly in this match played in Nagpur. The third match of this series is to be held in Dharamshala. But the hosting of Dharamshala is now in trouble. According to a report, this match can be shifted to some other ground.

Doubts have arisen over the hosting of the third Test between India and Australia at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) Stadium in Dharamshala from March 1 to 5. According to a report in Cricinfo, the third Test may be shifted out of Dharamshala as the ground may not be ready to host international cricket after the recent renovation.

The report also states that the BCCI will take a final call in the next few days. On the basis of this, the result will come out from the inspection of the ground by the board’s team of experts. The third test can be shifted to Visakhapatnam, Rajkot, Pune and Indore.

Dharamsala had previously hosted a Test, the fourth and final match of the 2017 Border-Gavaskar Trophy, which India won by eight wickets under stand-in captain Ajinkya Rahane to win the series 2–1. The report further states that the inspection team will determine whether the outfield is fit or not. It has also been found that the outfield is sand-based, which experts say requires dense grass.

Significantly, India won the Nagpur Test by performing brilliantly. Australia scored 177 runs till all out in the first innings. After this, the Kangaroo team got all out in the second innings on a score of just 91 runs. In response, India scored 400 runs in the first innings. So Australia had to face defeat by an innings and 132 runs.
