Jaydev Unadkat Comeback: Ranji Trophy 2022-23 winning captain Jaydev Unadkat has returned to the Indian ODI cricket team after 10 years. The BCCI has announced the Indian team for the ODI series against Australia starting on March 17. The name of left arm fast bowler Jaydev Unadkat has also been included in this team. Therefore, he can be seen playing in India’s ODI team after about 10 years.
Jaydev played his last ODI on 21 November 2013 against West Indies in Kochi. Since then till now Jaydev never got a chance to play ODI match again. However, in the meantime, Jaydev continued to perform brilliantly in domestic cricket, due to which Jaydev got a chance to return to the Test team after 12 years on the recent Bangladesh tour.
Left arm bowler made a great comeback
Jaydev has bowled brilliantly for his team Saurashtra in Ranji Trophy, not just for one season but for the last several seasons. Jaidev has also performed brilliantly in the final match of this season. He made victory easy for his team by taking 3 wickets in the first innings and 6 wickets in the second innings. Due to this good performance, he has been given the Man of the Series award.
Apart from this, now BCCI has given him the real award by including his name in the ODI team. Please tell that 31-year-old Jaydev has played only 7 matches in ODI career so far, in which he has got 8 wickets. During that time his economy was 4.01. Now it has to be seen whether he gets a chance to play in the playing eleven of the ODIs against Australia.
