IND vs AUS: The thrill of the Test match between India and Australia has always been seen at a different level. Achieving the target of 441 runs in the fourth innings on this pitch of Pune was not going to be an easy task for any team. The same was seen with the Indian team as well, where the team was reduced to a score of 107 only. Only 4 batsmen were able to touch double figures in this innings from India.
Where Steve O’Keefe again took 6 wickets in this innings from the Kangaroo team, Nathan Lyon took 4 wickets in his name. In this way, the Australian spinners took a total of 17 wickets in this match. However, after this, the Indian team returned to the series and won the second and fourth Test matches and won the series 2–1.
