Rohit Sharma On All Formats: Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma answered many questions during the press conference after Jasprit Bumrah’s last minute withdrawal from the ODI team. The Indian team is starting the first ODI series against Sri Lanka from 10 January. A day before that, Bumrah withdrew from the ODI series. In such a situation, Rohit Sharma gave clarification regarding Bumrah. He said that Jasprit Bumrah is very careful about any small thing. He has a slight problem in his back. That’s why the series has been removed. During this, Hitman also answered the question of retiring from T20.
The reason for Bumrah being out
Talking during the press conference on the eve of the match, Rohit Sharma said, Bumrah has a minor back strain. That’s why he is out of the ODI series. Bumrah is very careful about anything. His injury is not serious, he bowls in the net. Apart from this, Rohit further said, Shubman Gill will open with him in the ODI series against Sri Lanka. Recently, in the absence of Rohit and KL Rahul in the Team 20 series, Shubman Gill started the innings with Ishaan Kishan.
No plan to leave T20
During the press conference, 35-year-old Rohit agreed that it is difficult for every player like him to play consistently in all three formats. During this, he said, he has no plans to leave this short format of cricket. According to Rohit, we have to play only 6 T20 Internationals this year. Three of which have been completed. Have to watch those boys till IPL. We will see what happens after IPL. But definitely I have not taken any decision to leave this format. According to Rohit, the 50-over World Cup is round the corner. So it is difficult for every player to play in every format. I am also included in the same list.
