IND vs WI: Who will be the wicketkeeper against West Indies? Saha is not in the plan and Ishaan Kishan is not fit

IND vs WI: Ever since Rishabh Pant’s accident, the Indian team is looking for a stable wicket-keeper batsman. Pant is still recovering. KS Bharat was given a chance in the Test team in place of Pant, but he disappointed with his performance in batting. In such a situation, Ishaan Kishan, KS Bharat and Upendra Yadav, playing from Uttar Pradesh, are in the race to become the wicketkeeper of the Test team for the Test series to be played on the West Indies tour.

Wicketkeeper batsman Wriddhiman Saha is also not included in the plan of the Indian team. Both Saha and the Indian selectors have moved on. Saha is 38 years old. At the same time, in place of injured Pant, the selectors are looking towards the young wicket-keeper batsman. Saha decided not to play Duleep Trophy saying that he does not want to block the path of young players. Apart from this, KL Rahul is also recovering from injury.

A senior BCCI official told ‘InsideSports’ Said while talking to, “We have to look beyond Wriddhiman Saha. No doubt, he is a wonderful wicket-keeper batsman. But he is 38 years old. That may just be a stop-gap solution which we do not want. We have to groom young talents like Ishaan, Bharat and Upendra. They will fail more than others, but they are the future.”

Bharat is a flop in batting, Ishaan is a great batsman
