IND vs LEB, SAFF Championship SF: The Indian football team has reached the finals of the SAFF Championship. Sunil Chhetri-led Indian team defeated Lebanon 4-2 in the semi-final match. The India-Lebanon match was decided in a penalty shootout. Actually, both the teams could not score any goal till the stipulated time. After which the match went to extra time, but both the teams could not score any goal even in extra time. Then the match went to the penalty shootout.

The teams of India and Lebanon were face to face at the Srikantirava Stadium in Bangalore. Captain Sunil Chhetri scored the first goal for India. However, now Kuwait will face India in the final of the SAFF Championship. Kuwait secured their place in the final by defeating Bangladesh in the first semi-final match.

Earlier, when the teams of India and Kuwait clashed in this tournament, the match ended in a 1-1 draw. While India defeated Nepal before the match against Kuwait. In that match Sunil Chhetri’s team defeated Nepal 2-0. Captain Sunil Chhetri and Mahesh Singh scored goals against Nepal. In this way the Indian team was able to defeat Nepal 2-0. Sunil Chhetri scored the goal in the 61st minute of the match. While Mahesh Singh scored the second goal in the 70th minute to put Team India ahead 2-0. However, now the eyes of the Indian fans are on the final match of the SAFF Championship. In this match, the challenge of Kuwait will be in front of Team India.
