India Canada row Canadian Deputy Foreign Minister David Morrison Provided intelligence information about India to American

India-Canada Row: At present, tension has arisen in the relations between India and Canada, for which Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is completely responsible. He had alleged that the Indian High Commissioner was also involved in the murder of Khalistani separatist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. However, meanwhile, such information has come to light, which provides evidence of Canada’s dark deeds.

According to the report of Global and Mail, PM Trudeau’s National Security Advisor and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs had given sensitive information related to India to the American newspaper Washington Post. He had given this task before the Canadian Police accused India of being involved in the murder of Sikh leader Sukhdul Gill in Winnipeg.

The Canadian police Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) had made serious allegations against the Indian agents of committing murder and extorting money and being involved in violent activities in the country. Recently Justin Trudeau had given a statement regarding foreign interference in electoral processes and democratic institutions. He told the public inquiry that in 2023, the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) has considered India and China as the main perpetrators of foreign interference. However, the issue became more serious when the Washington Post said in a report that Canada’s top security and intelligence advisors were responsible for the assassination of Indian Sikh leader Sukhdul Gill.

Canada’s baseless allegations against India
Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Commissioner Mike Duhem and Assistant Commissioner Brigitte Gauvin said in a press conference last year on October 14, 2023 that they had clear evidence implicating Indian officers in violent crimes. However, despite this he did not give any further information nor did he accept that Gill’s murder was directly related to India. India completely rejected the allegations and said that Canada has tried to defame us without any concrete evidence.

India accused of Nijjar massacre
Recently, when Canada accused India of Nijjar massacre, the country’s government immediately announced the recall of its High Commissioners. Apart from this, the country had ordered 6 Canadian officials to leave the country by October 19. Because of this, relations between the two countries reached their lowest level.
