India Govt Revises Covid Guidelines For International Passengers From Six Nations Including China Japan

Now RT-PCR negative test report has been made mandatory for people coming from 6 countries like China, Singapore, Hong Kong, Korea, Thailand and Japan. It has been said by the Indian Ministry of Civil Aviation that from the beginning of the new year i.e. from January 1, 2023, RT-PCR negative test report (RT) will be required for passengers arriving in all international flights from China, Singapore, Hong Kong, Republic of Korea, Thailand and Japan. -PCR Negative test Report) will be mandatory, which they will have to show before leaving the airport.

The ministry said that airlines are directed to make some changes in their check-in working capacity and issue boarding passes only to those passengers traveling to six countries including China who have registered through the Air Suvidha portal. ) has submitted the self-declaration form.

The ministry’s statement said, “Air Suvidha portal self-declaration has been made operational for passengers traveling on all international flights from China, Singapore, Hong Kong, Republic of Korea, Thailand and Japan.” In which a provision has been added to allow uploading of RT-PCR negative test report as well as self-declaration form for these passengers coming to India from abroad.

RT-PCR test report of all passengers is also necessary

According to the revised Kovid guideline, it is necessary for people to get the RT-PCR test done 72 hours before starting their air travel. Another special thing is that the existing system of random testing of 2% of the passengers arriving in all international flights will also continue.
