Talking about UPI payments, UPI transactions worth about Rs 81 lakh crore have taken place between April and July this year. This is believed to be the highest transaction in the world. According to global payment hub PaySecure, it has increased by about 37 percent compared to last year. According to the report, about 3,729.1 transactions have taken place every second on the UPI platform. Whereas before 2022, it was 2,348 per second. According to this, an increase of about 58 percent has also been registered in this.

According to PaySecure’s data, 117.6 million UPI payments have been made worldwide in 2023. In July 2024, this figure was around 20.6 lakh crores, which is the highest recorded in a month. Apart from this, UPI has also crossed the figure of 20 lakh crores for three consecutive months.
