According to the report, about 3,729.1 transactions have taken place every second on the UPI platform. Whereas before 2022, it was 2,348 per second. According to PaySecure’s data, 117.6 million UPI payments have been made worldwide in 2023. In July 2024, this figure was around 20.6 lakh crores, which is the highest recorded in a month. Apart from this, UPI has also crossed the figure of 20 lakh crores for three consecutive months.
