India Maldives Row Pakistani Journalists Got Angry At PM Modi Derogatory Remarks By Maldivian Ministers

Pakistan on India Maldives Row: Maldivian leaders and many ministers became worried after some pictures of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent visit to Lakshadweep were shared on social media. On the pretext of these pictures, he made derogatory and controversial comments on PM Modi and against India. Since then, bitterness has increased in the relations between the two countries and the matter has reached the level of summoning the High Commissioner of Maldives in New Delhi. Even India’s enemy neighboring country Pakistan does not agree with such statements of Maldivian leaders insulting PM Modi.

On such statements, many journalists of Pakistan have stood with India in the Maldives dispute. Pakistan’s well-known senior journalist Qamar Cheema, while giving advice to Maldives on any debate between the two countries on his YouTube channel, said that it should be on that issue and not on a particular person.

‘Can’t say anything good or bad to anyone’

Qamar Cheema, while also mentioning the Pakistani Prime Minister along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Maldives President Mohammed Muizzu, said that there should not be statements on individuals in such cases. Actually, all of them represent the people of their respective countries. They should be respected. You cannot say anything good or bad to anyone.

‘India has so much dominance, all three ministers have been suspended’

Citing India’s strength, Qamar Cheema also said that it is because of its influence that after the statements of those leaders and ministers, the Maldives government took strict action on this entire matter. Maldives government suspended all three ministers.

Every year two lakh Indians visit Maldives

If statistics are to be believed, every year about 2 lakh people from India visit Maldives. After the comment on PM Modi, #BoycottMaldives started trending on social media, which has increased the concern of Maldives.

‘Need to ignore Maldives completely’

Pakistan affairs expert Sajid Tarar also said in a show of Qamar Cheema that India should have completely ignored Maldives. Tarar has also strongly criticized Maldives’ statement in which it had asked to withdraw the Indian Army.

He said that tourists from western countries come to Maldives, when someone has a heart attack, they will know how they will be evacuated, when the Indian Army will not be there. Maldives does not have its own resources. Regarding countries like Maldives, Burma, Nepal, he told India that it should not pay attention to these small stones.

Pakistani journalist calls ‘Lakshadweep Tourism’ a great masterstroke by Modi

Apart from this, another Pakistani journalist Aliya Shah also praised PM Modi’s visit to Lakshadweep. He praised all his activities during his visit to Lakshadweep and said that this is the Prime Minister of India. Narendra Modi Is the strongest and the second is ‘Masterstroke’. In this way he is encouraging people to increase tourism in India. He is representing his country.

Maldives on backfoot after rhetoric

During the increased tension between India and Maldives, such statements of Pakistani media praising the neighboring country are being considered very important. Maldives has also come on the backfoot on the derogatory remarks made on PM Modi and India. A big reason for this is that the entire economy of Maldives depends on ‘tourism’.
