India Myanmar Relationship: In India’s neighboring country Myanmar, in the year 2021, the Junta Army overthrew the elected government of Aung San Suu Kyi. After this, she was put in jail. With this, a situation of civil war arose there. Its effect was also seen. During this time, a large part of the area has been occupied by different rebel groups. The army is not able to remove such groups even if it wants to. At the same time, India did not stop talking to Myanmar even when the army was ruling. Because, there was a fear that it might go to the side of China. However, later the Indian government has played such a game that not only will the military leadership of the neighboring country get a big blow. But two targets will be hit with one arrow.
According to a Reuters report, India has invited political and military opposition groups of Myanmar’s ruling army to participate in a seminar to be held in Delhi. Sources related to the matter have informed that India’s main plan is to put forward its views through the seminar to the ethnic minority rebel groups of Chin Rakhine and Kachin states bordering the country, so that the dispute with the neighboring country is resolved.
India is concerned about Manipur
Let us tell you that Myanmar shares a 1,650 km long border with India. Our country has also invested a lot. Therefore, India would not want any harm to come to them under any circumstances. Apart from this, recently it was known from intelligence sources that more than 900 Kuki rebels had crossed over to Manipur and reached India. Which is not a good sign for the country. Because Manipur has been in the fire of violence for the last 1 year. In view of this, India itself will take the initiative and talk to Myanmar and adopt the path of peace.
