How many posts will be filled
Some time ago, India Post had issued a short notice. At that time, it was estimated that around 35 thousand posts would be filled through this recruitment process. The actual number is more than this. Candidates will be recruited for 44288 posts through India Post’s GDS recruitment. These posts are for Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Punjab, UP, Uttarakhand, MP, Rajasthan, Jharkhand etc.
Who can apply
Candidates who have passed 10th from a recognized board can apply for these recruitments. The age limit is 18 to 40 years. Knowledge of the language of the region for which you are applying is necessary. Along with this, one should also know how to ride a bicycle. English and Maths are compulsory subjects in 10th. These posts are of Gramin Dak Sevak, Branch Postmaster, Assistant Branch Postmaster.
