UNGA Kashmir Issue: Once again, India has lashed out at Pakistan on the Kashmir issue in the United Nations General Assembly. Minister Pratik Mathur of India’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations said on the comments made by Pakistan, “I will not react to these comments, because I do not want to waste the valuable time of this prestigious institution.” Mathur said, Pakistan has always been misusing international forums. It also spreads baseless and misleading stories on the Kashmir issue.

Pratik Mathur made such comments in the United Nations General Assembly when Islamabad’s ambassador Munir Akram mentioned Kashmir in the General Assembly. During this, India clarified that Jammu and Kashmir is an integral and inseparable part of India and will always remain so. During this, Pratik Mathur said that the statements made by Pakistan in the General Assembly are baseless and deceitful. He said that such statements made by Pakistan are not surprising, because Pakistan has always been making such statements.

Pakistan misuses international forums
He said, we should not waste the time of the United Nations General Assembly on these comments of Pakistan. Pakistan has always been misusing international forums. Mathur said, ‘I want to save the time of the prestigious forum by not giving any reply on this issue, there is no use in making these comments a big deal.’

Pakistan raises the Kashmir issue everywhere
Actually, Pakistan always keeps on harping on the Kashmir issue. This is not the first time that Pakistan has taken the help of the United Nations for the Kashmir issue. Pakistan has always been doing this and India has always reprimanded Pakistan. This time also India said that the Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh are integral parts of India and will always remain so.
