Indian Delegation Meets Taliban: Taliban rule is going on in Afghanistan. For the first time after the change of power in Kabul, a high level meeting took place between India and Taliban. On Thursday (07 March), a delegation led by JP Singh, Joint Secretary (Pakistan-Afghanistan-Iran) of the Ministry of External Affairs, met Taliban Foreign Minister Aamir Khan Muttaki in Kabul. Also met former President of Afghanistan Hamid Karzai.
Taliban Foreign Ministry spokesman Abdul Kahar Balkhi said that there were in-depth discussions on Afghanistan-India relations and economic and transit matters. He said on social media platform
Abdul Kahar Balkhi further said, “Also, appreciating the efforts of IEA (Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan) in ensuring overall security and stability, countering narcotics, ISKP and fighting corruption in the country, Mr Singh said “That India is interested in enhancing political and economic cooperation with Afghanistan and increasing trade through Chabahar Port.”
Expressed gratitude to India

India gave statement on meeting with Karzai
