Chicago University report revealed

The Air Quality Life Index report of the Energy Policy Institute at the University of Chicago states that air quality in India has improved in 2022 compared to the last decade. The report states that air pollution data shows that its level was 51.3 µg/m³ during 2021 and its level has fallen to 41.4 µg/m³ in 2022. That is, the air quality in the country has improved. Let us tell you that more than 40 percent of the people live in areas of India where the air quality is higher than the average standard of 40 µg/m³.

The life of Delhiites has increased by so many years

The reason for the improvement in air quality is the reduction in particulate pollution. The reduction in air pollution has increased the life expectancy of Indians. This will increase the life expectancy of every Indian by about nine months. If we see, if the level of air pollution in the country becomes according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, then the average life expectancy of Delhi residents will increase by 7.8 years. At the same time, the life expectancy of the residents of North 24 Parganas is possible to increase by 3.6 years. Despite geographical difficulties, the biggest decline in pollution has come in Purulia and Bankura districts of West Bengal.

After this, the level of air pollution has fallen in Dhanbad, East and West Singhbhum and Bokaro districts of Jharkhand. If seen, air pollution has increased a lot in India. Due to this, not only people are suffering from serious diseases but the life expectancy of people is also decreasing.
