Indian 2 Box Office Collection Day 5: Kamal Haasan starrer ‘Indian 2’ was released in theaters on 12 July. This film of the veteran actor was the most awaited film of the year 2024 and it was released on a record number of screens. Although the much awaited sequel did not get positive reviews after hitting the theaters, the film had a huge advance booking for the first day due to which ‘Indian 2’ had a good opening at the box office but after this the graph of the film’s earnings went down. There was a lot of buzz about Kamal Haasan’s ‘Indian 2’ before its release. Actually, this film is the sequel to the actor’s blockbuster 1996 film ‘Indian’. So, there was a lot of excitement among the audience about the film. While the mega-budget film had a good start after hitting the theatres, from the second day onwards, it is seen yearning for audience in the theatres and with this, ‘Indian 2’ is not able to perform at the box office as expected.

Talking about the earnings of ‘Indian 2’, the film opened with 25.6 crores on the first day of its release. After this, the film earned 18.2 crores on the second day. On the third day, the collection of ‘Indian 2’ was 15.35 crores. On the fourth day, the film earned 3 crores. Now the initial figures of the earnings of ‘Indian 2’ on the fifth day of its release i.e. Tuesday have come.

• According to the early trend report of Saccanilk, ‘Indian 2’ has collected Rs 3 crore on the 5th day of its release.
• After this, the total earnings of ‘Indian 2’ in five days have now become Rs 65.15 crore.

‘Indian 2′ is getting a cold response from the audience. One reason for this is that this film has to compete with Prabhas’ blockbuster Kalki 2898 AD. Kalki is doing more business than the latest ‘Indian 2’ even in the third week of its release. In such a situation, it is becoming difficult for ‘Indian 2’ to stand in front of Kalki. Kalki has also performed well in the Hindi belt and has done a business of more than 250 crores. ‘Indian 2’ is getting a very cold response from the audience in Hindi speaking areas. In such a situation, it will be interesting to see whether ‘Indian 2’ is able to hit a century at the box office with decreasing earnings or not.
