He said that 10% of the vacant posts will be reserved for former Agniveers. CRPF DG Anish Dayal Singh also said that 10% reservation has been arranged for the recruitment of former Agniveers. He said that changes have also been made in the recruitment rules accordingly. Under the new rules, there will now be a fixed quota for former Agniveers.

Relaxation in age limit

Former Agniveer jawans will also get relaxation in age limit and physical test. CISF DG Neena Singh said that in the first batch, former Agniveers will get 5 years relaxation in age limit and in the second batch, 3 years relaxation. Officials say that former Agniveers will have four years of experience. This will make them fully disciplined and more trained. Former Agniveers will also not need to give physical test for recruitment in CRPF. In CRPF and SSB, former Agniveers will get 5 years relaxation in age limit in the first batch and then 3 years relaxation.
