Vacancy Details
Out of the total 381 vacancies, 350 are for male candidates and 29 for female candidates. Also know that widows of Indian Armed Forces Defense Personnel can also apply for these vacancies. The course for the selected candidates will start in April 2025 at the Pre-Commissioning Training Academy.
Who can apply
To apply, it is necessary that the candidate has an engineering degree or is in the final year. The eligibility for SSC Women Non-Technical is graduation in any discipline. This is for widows of defense personnel. Talking about the age limit, it has been fixed from 20 to 27 years. Whereas for some candidates it is up to 35 years. You can see the details in the notice.
How will the selection be done
The selection of candidates for these posts will be done after passing several stages of examination. First of all, the candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of applications. After this, an interview will be conducted, the details of which you can find on the website and book an interview slot for yourself.
The next stage will be the interview process which will last for five days. There will be two stages in this and only the candidate who passes the first stage will go to the second stage. During this there will be psychological activities, group activities, individual interviews etc. Candidates who pass this stage will have to give a medical test. The selection of the candidates who pass all the stages will be final.
How much salary will you get
Salary is different according to the post. For example, salary for the post of lieutenant will be from 56 thousand to 1 lakh 77 thousand rupees per month. Salary for the post of captain will be from 61 thousand to 1 lakh 93 thousand. Similarly, the salary of other posts is from 1.5 lakh to 2.25 lakh rupees per month. Salary of some posts is fixed and is 2.5 lakh rupees per month.
