UPSC is the world’s top third toughest exam.
UPSC which is called Union Public Service Commission. It conducts civil services examinations in India. Exams are conducted on three patterns, first pre, second mains and then interview. Talking about last year, 13.4 lakh candidates of India had given UPSC Prelims exam. Out of which only 14627 people passed.
You can get an idea of how difficult the exam is from these figures. According to the report of World of Statistics, the most difficult exam in the world is China’s Gaokao exam. So IIT JEE is at second place. So UPSC occupies the third position.

PAS is not even in the top 10
The exam conducted by Central Superior Services (CSS) of Pakistan does not even come in the top 10 in the list of difficult exams. This proves that India’s UPSC exam is more difficult than Pakistan’s PAS exam.
Exam pattern of both is almost same
If we talk about the pattern of UPSC and PAS exam, it is almost similar. Where there are three stages of UPSC in India. Preliminary Exam, Main Exam, and Interview. So there are two phases in Pakistan. Which includes written examination and interview.
