Indian Idol 15 contestant imitating Atif Aslam Vishal Dadlani schools | Indian Idol 15: Vishal Dadlani classed the contestant for copying Atif Aslam, said

Indian Idol 15: Reality singing show Indian Idol is a very popular show. There have been 14 seasons of the show so far. Now the new season is starting soon. The makers have also started releasing the audition clips of the show. Recently a promo video surfaced, in which judge Vishal Dadlani is seen giving a class to a contestant.

‘Don’t copy Atif Aslam’

A contestant Lakshya Mehta (21 years) sang the song ‘Pehli Nazar Mein Kaisa Jadoo’ in front of the judges. Judge Vishal Dadlani stops them midway. He said- Don’t sing like that. This is Indian Idol, neither do idols come from here. Leave aside what he has sung. He is a great artiste. But the day you start copying them. You will keep singing in the hotel restaurant.

Let it be known that this song has been sung by Pakistani singer Atif Aslam. Fans had given a lot of love to this song. The song is from the film Race. The song featured stars like Akshay Khanna and Bipasha Basu.

‘You can never become a star’

Apart from this, Lakshya also tried to imitate Arjit Singh when he sang the song Tum Kya Mile. So Vishal said- First you copied Arjit, then you copied Atif. Please don’t sing like this. You are singing well, but this is not your original. You perform in public, right? When you start imitating other artists in the show, people like it because you are singing as they have heard that song. But unless you make your own identity, you will not be able to become a star. You cannot become an Indian Idol by singing in someone else’s style. This is the problem.

Let us tell you that Indian Idol is starting from 26th October. The show can be seen on Sony TV on Saturday-Sunday at 9 pm. Badshah, Vishal Dadlani and Shreya Ghoshal are the judges of the show.
