According to the data till March 15, 2024, the total revenue of Indian Railways during the financial year 2023-24 has been Rs 2.40 lakh crore. On March 15 last year, the total revenue was recorded at Rs 2.23 lakh crore. This means that an increase of Rs 17,000 crore has been recorded in a year. Last year, the total number of passengers was 596 crores.
