First Vande Bharat Sleeper Train: If you travel by train then there is good news for you. Indian Railways is also preparing to start Vande Bharat Sleeper Train this year. These trains will include more facilities for the passengers. According to the information, the first Vande Bharat train with sleeper coach can run between Secunderabad and Pune.
Such Vande Bharat trains will make long distance travel convenient and passengers will be able to reach their destination quickly. According to a report by India.com, Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML) and Integral Coach Factory (ICF) are manufacturing sleeper coaches of Vande Bharat. These are to be launched later this year.
There will be many modern facilities inside the coach
Apart from this, modern facilities in these sleeper trains will include sensor-based lighting, better soundproofing, automatic doors and a small pantry in each coach. They will also have wheelchair-accessible sleepers, comfortable bunk beds and bathrooms with anti-spill washbasins and smell control systems.
The aim is to improve passenger comfort and save time
Vande Bharat trains are part of a larger initiative by Indian Railways to increase the number of semi-high-speed train services introduced across the country to improve passenger comfort and reduce travel time. The new sleeper train service in Secunderabad is part of a larger plan to modernise and expand the Vande Bharat fleet, which will make long-distance travel comfortable.
Can be replaced by Shatabdi Express
The existing Shatabdi Express on the same route, which has a travel time of around 8 hours 25 minutes, may be replaced by the Secunderabad-Pune Vande Bharat Sleeper, with passengers reaching their destinations at least an hour earlier. The schedule and stoppages of the Secunderabad-Pune Vande Bharat Sleeper train have not been finalised yet, as the railways is currently finalising preparations for the much-awaited Vande Bharat Sleeper train launch. Officials say the full timetable will be released once it is inaugurated.
