Actually, earlier reports had surfaced that Indian citizens are being forced to fight against Ukraine with the Russian army. Indians are being fraudulently sent to the border to work as security assistants. The Hindu had said in its report that an agent had informed that about 18 Indians are stranded on the Russia-Ukraine border since November 2023. During this time one person has also died. Many youths from Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir are also trapped in this war.
Asaduddin Owaisi had written a letter
A youth from Hyderabad was also trapped in the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. The youth had appealed to the Indian government for help through social media. After which the victim’s family contacted AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi. Regarding this, Owaisi wrote a letter to External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and the Indian Embassy in Moscow on January 25. In this, he had demanded intervention from the government for the return of the youth.
