The Asia Cup is going to be held from August 30 and the first match of the tournament will be played in Pakistan.

This time Pakistan had the right to host the Asia Cup. But India refused to send a team to Pakistan citing security reasons. After much controversy, it was decided to organize the tournament in Sri Lanka along with Pakistan. 5 matches of Asia Cup are to be played in Pakistan and 9 in Sri Lanka. The Indian team will play all its matches in Sri Lanka only. The final match of the tournament will also be played in Pakistan.
