Begunkodar Railway Station of Bengal

India’s scariest railway station is in West Bengal. Begunkodar Railway Station in Purulia district of West Bengal is the most haunted railway station. Begunkodar railway station was started in the year 1960. It was closed just seven years after it started. The story behind this is that the station master of this station had seen a ghost of a girl at night and she died soon after. The station was closed this year. After this, it was restarted after 42 years in 2007.  

The girl had died

This station of Bengal looks quite scary. There is no platform at this station. There is only one ticket counter at the station situated 260 kilometers away from Kolkata. The story behind this station is that a girl had died in an accident at this station, after which the railway station master here saw the ghost of the girl in the year 1967. After that many people claimed to have seen him as a ghost. There is a girl who is seen here wearing a white saree. That’s why even today no one wants to come here.
