Indore News: In this era of inflation, full meal for farmers for just Rs 5! And how much for the rest?

Rahul Dave / Indore. In the era of inflation, where vegetables cost 40 to 80, flour 50 to 70 and pulses around 90 to 130 rupees per kg, then the prices of cooking gas, edible oil and spices are also skyrocketing. Amidst the ravages of inflation, there is a place in Indore where farmers get food for only 5 rupees. It must sound strange, but This restaurant is in Asia’s largest Choithram Phool Mandi, which is managed by Nand Kishore Gupta. Let us tell you the whole issue of providing food at such a low rate.

Gupta says that when the farmers come to the market, their receipt of Rs.15 is deducted at the block. After showing the receipt, they have to deposit five rupees in the restaurant and they are served a plate. Apart from the farmers, that is, if someone comes without this receipt, then for him the price of the plate here is Rs.20.

Gupta says that thousands of farmers and laborers come to the market from far and wide. After traveling hundreds of kilometers, they are subjected to rigorous tests here. In such a situation, when he eats pure food at a low price inside the market, he gets peace.

He said that Indore has scored six in cleanliness for six consecutive times. Due to this it is our priority that we take care of cleanliness in the restaurant. Cleaning goes on in our place during the day. Farmers come to the mandi from night itself for shopping. Early in the morning after work, they come straight to the restaurant for breakfast and dinner.
