The name of this app store is Indus App Store, which has been created by Walmart-owned payment app PhonePe. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav will launch this app on 21st February. Users will be able to use this native app store just like Google Play Store and download their necessary Android apps. Let us tell you that till now many popular apps like Jio, Disney Plus Hotstar, Flipkart, Swiggy and Dream11 have been registered in this app.
According to media reports, till now more than 300 apps have been registered in this app. Users using Android devices will be able to download the app through this app store on their phone or tab. Support for 12 languages has been included in the Indus App Store, which includes Hindi, English as well as Marathi, Malayalam and Tamil etc.
Opportunity to register the app for free
The beta version of this app store was released in the month of September last year. It has been specially designed keeping in mind the needs of the users of India. App developers will be able to register their app in this app store absolutely free. However, this offer is available only for the first year.
Apart from this, app developers will not have to pay any commission in the first year on the revenue earned through Indus App. At the same time, on Google Play Store, developers have to pay commission from the money earned, but on Indus App Store also the commission free offer is available only for the first one year.
