Investigation has started into the case of death of two children on the night of October 11 in Hundred Bed Hospital in Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh. Amidst the investigation, the family alleges that the child died due to the extreme temperature kept in the SNCU ward. After receiving the complaint, the police has also started investigation. The report will be sent to the authorities within three days. The District Magistrate has also sought a report from the Health Department officials regarding the entire matter.
In Sau Shaiya Hospital, one-day-old innocent son of Arun Kumar, resident of village Rathera of Dannahar police station area and three-day-old daughter of Ajit Kumar, resident of Joga village of Bewar police station area, died during treatment on the late evening of October 11.
Neither cases were reported to the police and authorities. CMS Dr. Shashank has formed an investigation team on behalf of the Health Department in the matter. The team took information about the entire matter from the doctors and staff posted at Sau Shaiya Hospital on Sunday.
