According to a report by 9to5Mac, many users around the world have complained on social media that the touchscreen of the iPhone 16 Pro is working intermittently. Apart from this, users are also facing difficulty in tapping and swiping in this new iPhone, due to which they are forced to scroll, click and use the virtual keyboard.

Why is my iPhone touch not working?
It is believed that such problems are occurring due to the palm rejection algorithm. This is believed to be because this problem is being seen most on the edges of the phone screen and users are facing the most problems especially around the camera control button.
According to the report, it is being said that this algorithm sometimes stops the touch function around the edges for a while when the user’s hand comes in contact with other parts of the screen.
What is the solution to this problem?
At the same time, some people say that the reason for such palm rejection algorithm is the thin bezels. In such a situation, if you use the iPhone 16 Pro with a case or cover, then the chances of the hand touching the edge of the screen will be reduced and then it will work normally.
However, this is not a permanent solution and will force users to use the iPhone 16 Pro with the case and there is no guarantee that this problem will not occur after that.
Interestingly, this problem will not occur when the phone screen is locked, which means it is a software problem. This means that Apple will soon release a new software update and through that update will provide a permanent solution to this problem in the iPhone 16 Pro. Till then, users can use their new iPhone with a case i.e. back cover.
