Iran-Israel Relations: Iran can launch a direct attack on Israel in the next 48 hours and the Jewish country is also preparing for this. This information was given by the American newspaper ‘The Wall Street Journal’ on Friday (April 12, 2024). Quoting a briefing given by a person from the Iranian leadership, the newspaper report further said that the Supreme Leader has a plan for a strike.
Iran is reportedly preparing to retaliate after a deadly bombing of a building, which Israel claims was linked to threats against its interests. The whole incident is raising the possibility of increasing conflict in the Middle East. Amidst warnings of retaliation from Tehran, US President Joe Biden talked about giving full support to Israel. Israel is widely believed to be responsible for this attack on April 1, 2024.
India’s advisory- Do not go to Israel and Iran!
Meanwhile, an advisory has been issued for Indian citizens, advising them not to travel to Iran and Israel until further notice. The travel advisory issued by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said, “In view of the current situation, all Indians are advised not to travel to Iran or Israel until further notice. Those who are currently in Iran or Israel should “They are requested to contact the Indian Embassy there and get registered. It is also requested that they take safety precautions and limit their activities.”
French Foreign Ministry also issued such travel advice
Apart from India, many other countries also issued similar travel advisories for citizens within 24 hours, warning them not to travel to the region due to security reasons. The French Foreign Ministry also advised citizens to avoid traveling to Iran, Lebanon, Israel or Palestine in the coming days.
