Iran Hijab Law: There is a rule regarding wearing hijab in Islam religion. This rule has been strictly implemented in many Muslim countries of the world. Whereas many Muslim countries, moving towards modernization, have abolished the necessity of hijab. But in some countries the laws have been made even more strict.
Recently a new law regarding hijab has been brought in Iran. Due to which lakhs of women can face a lot of problems. Women who do not wear hijab in Iran will be given severe punishment. Death penalty for not wearing hijab
After the Islamic Revolution of 1979 in Iran, it was made mandatory for women to wear hijab in public places. After this, there were many protests across the country regarding the Hijab law in the year 2022. Now to end these protests, the Iranian government has implemented a new law from today i.e. 13th December. Under Article 60, there is a provision ranging from 15 years of imprisonment to death penalty for violation of public morality i.e. not wearing hijab.
Strict laws in these countries too
Like Iran, such strict laws regarding hijab have been made in other Muslim countries of the world. However, there is no provision for death penalty in those countries at present. In Afghanistan too, like Iran, the rules regarding not wearing hijab are very strict. If women in Afghanistan do not wear hijab or burqa in public places.
So they are whipped in front of everyone. Rules regarding wearing hijab are also applicable in Saudi Arabia. However, women have been given some relaxation here. Even in Indonesia, fines are imposed for not wearing hijab. There is a ban on wearing hijab in many countries of the world including France, Italy and Germany.
