Iran Satellite Launch: An Iranian imaging satellite has been launched into space by Russia. The name of the launched satellite is Pars 1. According to Russian media, this satellite has the ability to send high quality images from its orbit 500 km above the Earth. A Russian weather satellite and 17 small satellites have also been sent through the rocket.

Tass news agency quoted Russian space agency Roscosmos as saying that the 134-kilogram Soyuz carrier rocket was launched from the Vostochny space port at 8:43 am Moscow time.

Pars 1 is installed 700 kilometers above the earth’s surface.

Iranian media IRNA said immediately after the rocket launch that the indigenous Iranian satellite Pars 1 has been placed in an orbit 700 kilometers above the Earth’s surface.

The 12th satellite was launched during the reign of Ibrahim Raisi.

According to Iranian media, this is the 12th satellite launch during the rule of President Ebrahim Raisi. Earlier, Information and Communication Technology Minister Issa said on Wednesday that the launch of Pars 1 satellite from Russia is in line with the development of space and international interaction with various countries.

15 meter camera is installed

Satellite Pars 1 has a 15 meter camera which specializes in sending pictures of surface places from its orbit 500 km above the Earth. This is being said to be an important achievement in the direction of increasing data.

Sorayya satellite launched

Earlier in January 2024, Iran had announced the launch of its Sorayya satellite. During this time, it was reported by IRNA that the Soraya satellite has been placed in an orbit about 750 kilometers above the earth’s surface with its three-stage Qum 100 rocket.
