Hezbollah Attacks On Israel: Hezbollah targeted the air defense base in northern Israel. The Iran-backed Lebanese terrorist group attacked with 1307 drones and rockets on Saturday (September 14). Hezbollah has carried out two attacks on Israeli military bases within just 12 hours. The terrorist group has claimed direct attacks on Israeli soldiers and officers.
According to Aaj Tak’s report, Hezbollah took this step amid rising tensions, as Israeli airstrikes had earlier targeted homes in Lebanon, causing extensive damage. The terrorist group claimed that all the drones fell on Israeli targets, while the Israeli army said that most of the attacks were thwarted mid-air through the Iron Dome.

Israel says that the drones and rockets that attacked were either destroyed by the Iron Dome or fell to the ground in open areas. In fact, Hezbollah had threatened Israel that if it continued attacks in the Gaza Strip, more dangerous attacks would be carried out from its side.

In a statement, the Lebanese group said that its fighters fired several Katyusha rockets at the main air defense base under Israel’s Northern Region Command, which fell directly on the Birya barracks and set some of its parts on fire. Hezbollah also attacked the Israeli military base in the Amiad area. Hezbollah also used Katyusha rockets in this attack. These rockets have been used during the World War.
According to Information International, the death toll in the clashes on the southern front from October 8, 2023 to the morning of September 13, 2024 was 626. These include 431 Hezbollah members and 97 civilians. A total of 2,050 houses have been completely destroyed, 1,800 houses have been partially destroyed, and about 8,000 houses have suffered minor damage, while more than 110,000 people have been displaced, many of whom have lost their livelihoods.
