Israel Pager Strike: The world’s biggest serial blast has taken place in Lebanon. This blast was not caused by RDX or any other explosive but by a pager. The same pager which used to be the biggest means of communication in the 90s. There have been a series of blasts in those pagers and more than 2800 fighters were injured in it. There is also news of 9 people being killed.
Somewhere the pager blast happened in a vegetable market and somewhere in a grocery shop. Right now there is a panic situation in the whole of Lebanon. People are running here and there in fear. This is because thousands of Hezbollah fighters have similar pagers, which they used to talk to each other. After the explosion, many people fell face down. Thousands of people are rushing to the hospital amid the chaos.
Blasts in the pagers of Hezbollah fighters
International media reports say that only Hezbollah fighters were targeted in these blasts. The special thing is that all the blasts took place in the pagers of Hezbollah members. Hezbollah fighters use pagers for communication. Due to the war, Hezbollah does not use mobile phones.
It is worth noting that there is news of Iran’s ambassador to Lebanon Mujtaba Amani being injured in this attack. Now the question is why did this attack happen on Hezbollah and who did it? International media reports are that Israel has carried out this operation against Hezbollah. It has been claimed that all the pagers exploded at the same time in a SYNCHRONISED manner.
Aerial attacks are being carried out continuously
The explosion was carried out via radio and this is being considered a major lapse in Lebanon’s security system. It is also important to know here that war-like situations have been prevailing between Israel and Hezbollah for the past several days. Just two days ago, Hezbollah fired more than 1000 rockets targeting Israel, while Israeli Defense Forces destroyed many of Hezbollah’s bases in South Lebanon. Aerial attacks are being carried out continuously.
Netanyahu had announced an all-out attack
Just two days ago, Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu had said that now the time has come to launch an all-out attack against Hezbollah, but his own Defense Minister had objected to this.
After these serial pager attacks, it seems that Israel has settled its accounts with the defense forces and Mossad with Hezbollah. When Hezbollah and Israel attack each other, they call it a fight for justice for their citizens.
