Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant Said Israel Could Keep Security Control Of Gaza After Hamas Defeat

Israel Hamas War: Amidst the ongoing war with Hamas, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant has given a big statement. Galant has said that after the defeat of Hamas, Israel will retain security control of Gaza and Hamas will have no control in Gaza.

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant has given this big statement before the visit of US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Thursday (04 January). He said that Palestinians will have limited rule in this area. Gallant said Israel would preserve its right to operate within the territory, but that once the goals of the war were achieved, there would be no Israeli citizens living in the Gaza Strip.

Israel will have control of Gaza
Under the Israeli Defense Minister’s ‘Four Corners’ plan, the entire responsibility for the security of Gaza will be in the hands of Israel. Along with this, Gaza which has been devastated by Israeli bombing will be rebuilt. Along with this, Galant also said that Israel’s offensive in Gaza will continue until the hostages are freed on October 7 and it destroys Hamas’s military and governance capabilities.

America is also putting pressure on Israel
Gallant further said that Palestinians are residents of Gaza, so here he will be in charge of the Palestinian body. They will not fear any hostile action or threat against the State of Israel. After nearly three months of devastating bombings and ground attacks, the US is pressuring Israel to reduce military operations. US President Joe Biden warned last month that Israel was losing international support due to its indiscriminate bombing.

More than twenty thousand have died in Gaza
According to the Hamas-run health ministry in Gaza, more than 22,400 people have died due to Israeli attacks in Gaza. More than two-thirds of these are women and children, while thousands of people are feared buried under the debris and thousands injured.

Let us tell you that Hamas had suddenly attacked Southern Israel on October 7. About 1,200 people died in this attack. During this period, Hamas fighters had taken about 240 people hostage.
