Israeli Military Orders Evacuation of Residents from 22 More Villages in Southern Lebanon

Israeli Military Orders Evacuation in Lebanon: The Israeli army has ordered residents of 22 more villages in southern Lebanon to move to areas north of the Awali River. This information has been given in a statement of the army. The Israeli military has warned residents of southern Lebanon not to return to their homes, as the army continues its crackdown against Hezbollah.

Army spokesman Avichay Adrai said, “Hezbollah positions in or near your villages are being targeted. For your safety, please do not return to your homes. Do not move to the south until further notice; Whoever goes south may risk his life.”4

‘Medical teams should not use ambulances’

In a separate post, Adrai urged health workers and medical teams in southern Lebanon not to use ambulances. Adrai has said that ambulances are being used by Hezbollah fighters in this area. “We request the medical teams not to come in contact with Hezbollah members and not to cooperate with them,” he said.

“The IDF (Israeli Defense Forces) has clarified that action will be taken against any vehicle that transports armed individuals, regardless of type,” an Israeli military spokesperson said.

Another Israeli attack against Hamas

Israel is preparing for a ground operation in Lebanon, meanwhile at least 20 people are reported to have died due to the Israeli army attack in Gaza. A spokesman for the Hamas-run Civil Defense Agency said the airstrike took place at 9:40 pm local time. The death toll at that time was 12, which included women and children.

Ahmed al-Khalout, director of the Civil Defense Agency in northern Gaza, said 18 people had been killed in separate attacks. These attacks were carried out on eight different schools where camps for refugees were built.
