Colossal Biosciences calls itself “the world’s first extinction prevention company,” and is developing a way to revive the “original” genes of animals that have been extinct for thousands of years.

According to the report, in addition to the US intelligence agency, the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), PayPal co-founder and venture capitalist Peter Thiel and motivational speaker Tony Robbins are investing money in the company.

Keep an eye on two more animals
Scientists have their eyes on the Dodo and the Tasmanian tiger, so that they can come back to life as soon as possible. The Tasmanian tiger became extinct in the early 1980s, while the dodo bird was last seen in the 1600s.
